Our Philosophy

Great American Pellets was founded with a very simple objective: To be the best pellet company anywhere.

From our very first discussions with pellet users and retailers two things became immediately obvious:

1. Pellet users demand high quality pellets.

One bad experience will have them avoiding that brand of pellets for years to come. Many will admit to being tempted by a low price on occasion but will always come back for quality pellets.

2. Retailers are sick of getting horsed around.

Missed deliveries and erratic pricing make it impossible for retailers to run their business. Many retailers told us that in periods of high demand, pellet manufacturers were pulling promised shipments and sending them off to the highest bidder…often hundreds and in some cases over a thousand miles away.

At Great American Pellets we provide a great product and treat people right. We believe that’s the Great American way of doing business.

       

Our Plant  is located in Palmerton PA in a rural industrial area. Being consistent with our environmental focus, we choose to renovate a blighted factory built in the 1960’s instead of going with new construction.

The physical location is ideal as we strive to be a good neighbor. We have a mountain behind us and largely undevelopable industrial land around us. We have been able to layout our facility to keep any noise generating equipment far away from the few neighbors we do have. Additionally, we have constructed noise containment structures and built sound attenuating berms to further protect our neighbors.
